Digital Warehouse Europe is supporting African schools in realizing ICT networks.

Viafrica (http://www.viafrica.org/) is an organization that supports mainly local African schools, in implementing ICT in a practical way, and give maintenance support on the long term.

Digital Warehouse Europe supports the mission of Viafrica to promote the use of ICT in the education sector in sub-Saharan Africa countries (south from the Sahara) by providing information and advice, realizing projects with local partners and training and supporting local users.

The main project is CLASSworks. This project is aimed at implementing ICT within African schools.

Digital Warehouse Europe gives support to the projects of Viafrica by means of providing network equipment and ICT expertise / support. By providing network equipment and giving support, local African schools learn how to work with ICT networks and use ICT networks to gain more knowledge. The knowledge that is being acquired by the local African population helps to create sustainable development in the region.
